The SSI Marine Ecology Course provides a general introduction to the complex subject of marine ecology. During the course you will look at how marine organisms interact with each other and the environment, the flow of energy through communities, and the link between ocean ecosystems. 

You will look at the way humans interact with the oceans. Allowing you to better understand the effect this has on the complex and balanced ecosystems and measures we can all take to protect them. 

Your online materials will provide you with a global view and then Mulberry Marine Experiences offer unique additional materials to focus in on the Selsey viewpoint.

You have the option to add a Marine Life Walk, snorkel, or shore dive at Selsey, to see first-hand the subjects covered in class. Just ask Mulberry Marine Experiences for details of how to add this to your course.
