Help raise funds for RNLI Selsey Lifeboat by walking along quiet coastal paths and through the picturesque Sussex countryside around Selsey.  Come with friends, family or alone and enjoy routes that will relax both the mind and body. 

Entry is free.

All you need to do is:

Sponsorship is by donation, either via www.justgiving.com/campaign/rnli-selseylifeboat-
2024 or email dmf5@me.com  for a paper sponsorship form.

Choose the route that suits you.


1. The MayDay Mile – intended for the young and not so young; a short 1 mile
walk. along the Selsey seafront.You may meet with Stormy Stan, our RNLI
mascot.


2. The 5 mile walk – for those who want to stretch their legs a little further and
enjoy the stunning local scenery.


3. The 10 mile route – will appeal to the more adventurous walker.

Dogs are very welcome provided that they are kept on a lead during certain
sections of the walk. So feel free to ”strut the mutt”.


Routes are on public or permissive footpaths around Selsey and surrounding
countryside including the beautiful RSPB Medmerry and Pagham reserves.


Marshalls will be at selected points to guide if required; drinking water for walkers
(and dogs) is available at the registration desk and marshalled points.


The event starts and finishes at RNLI Selsey Lifeboat Station.

Parking is available at East Beach car park and the No 51 bus from Chichester stops outside the Lifeboat Station.

All walkers are required to check in at Selsey Lifeboat Station before they start
walking and sign out on completion of the walk.


The registration desk opens at 8am and closes at 2 pm.


Walkers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and we ask all
walkers to confirm they are in good health and physically able to complete the
walk they have selected.
